Man accused of putting camera in women’s bathroom (AP)

AP – A 37-year-old man has been accused of secretly installing a hidden video camera in a women’s bathroom at the Cambridge School of Weston. Homer Rogers, the assistant director of information technology at the private school, pleaded not guilty Friday in Waltham District Court to a charge of secret video surveillance of a partially nude person. He was released on personal recognizance.

Tenn. sheriff looks to serve 80-year-old warrant (AP)

AP – The Carter County Sheriff’s Department is trying to serve an 80-year-old warrant for the arrest of a man who wrote a $30 bad check, although unsure if he is alive. The warrant, issued in August 1928, calls for the arrest of J.A. Rowland. It says he owes $30 for the bad check, $2 for the arrest fee and 50 cents each for the affidavit and warrant.

Man allegedly steals ambulance that came to crash (AP)

AP – A man was arrested for allegedly stealing an ambulance that arrived to help him after a car crash. The California Highway Patrol said a 20-year-old man drove his Honda Accord off State Route 299 and over an embankment into several trees Thursday night.

Illinois mystery: Placentas found in sewage system (AP)

AP – Someone is disposing of placentas in a central Illinois sewage system and authorities want it to stop. Workers in Urbana on Thursday found a placenta in a filter that keeps large objects out of the sewage treatment plant — the third such find this year. So police have enlisted medical experts. “It was one of the weirdest calls I’ve ever received,” said Julie Pryde, who heads the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District.

AP – A southwest Missouri cattleman has been delivering calves at his farm for a long time, but a calf born this week sure was different. This one had two heads. Scott Clift said he delivered the chocolate-colored male calf Wednesday morning at his farm near Aldrich, in Polk County. Clift said the calf had two fully-formed heads that appeared to be connected to its body just behind the skull.

Police: Man uses fake money to buy fake drugs (AP)

AP – A man was been arrested after police said he used counterfeit money to purchase fake OxyContin pills from an undercover officer. Unicoi County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 21-year-old man on Tuesday and charged him with criminal conspiracy with schedule II drugs, forgery and criminal simulation.

Cops: Man late for flight claims to be air marshal (AP)

AP – Authorities say a man running late for a flight flashed a fake police badge to airline workers and claimed to be an air marshal so they would let him through the gate. Miami-Dade police said a 49-year-old man was booked on a flight to Los Angeles Wednesday night, but the gate had already closed and the plane was departing. After he showed the fake badge and claimed to be an air marshal, employees stopped the plane and let him board.

Fla. men charged with throwing beer can at police (AP)

AP – Authorities said two men were arrested after they threw an unopened 16-ounce can of Bud Light at an unmarked police vehicle. Tampa police Cpl. Richard Blasioli was on duty early Thursday morning, driving an unmarked 2001 Ford Expedition, when he saw a 1999 Toyota Solara cruising the wrong way down a road.
